Seed catalogs arrived and I can't go out and garden in the snow. So it's time to paint flowers! The process for this collage is kind of fun and a project I do with my students in class. It allows us to play with color, texture and pattern. We cut and paste organic shapes to a surface and the results are always whimsical and surprising.
This painting is not yet on my website but will be up soon. I should note that all my paintings are painted on wood and extend around the outside edges so no frame is required. Dimensions are H20" x W14".
