I just love playing with color and shape. I thought it would be fun to outline color the way Wayne Thiebaud does. It helps to pop the images. Usually, I do that with just the primary and secondary colors but here I was seeing if it would work with the tertiary colors. On pieces like this, I spend a lot more time painting the surface over and over to get the intensity just right as opposed to pieces that are more realistic.
This painting is not yet on my website but will be up soon. Dimensions are H8" x W10".
